Полицията в общините Каспичан и Нови пазар проведе специализирана операция за противодействие на престъпленията с акцизни стоки. В хода й са намерени и иззети общо 6,350 кг нарязан тютюн без акцизен бандерол. Нелегалната стока е намерена в домовете на 6-ма души. От дома на 68-годишния К.Т. от град Нови пазар – 1 кг. В къщата на 40-годишната В.К. от град Каспичан – 2 кг. 62-годишния И.И. от град Нови пазар е спипан с 0,350 кг. По един килограм са намерили в домовете на още трима души от Нови пазар.
Образувани са досъдебно производство и преписки за престъпления. По случаите продължават работа служители на РУ Нови пазар.
